Nigerian reggae-dancehall singer, Patrick Okorie, popularly known as Patoranking, made the news few days ago when he posted on his Instagram page pictures of the two lovely rides; a Mercedes Benz G-Wagon and a Porsche Cayman GTS, he had just bought.
“Let this motivate you..My new babies…God is The Greatest #skylevel,” he had captioned the post.
While G-Wagon is a versatile, refined luxury sport utility vehicle, coupled with the panache and reliability that Mercedes Benz is known for, the Cayman is an enviable fast car that is better than many of its rivals. No doubt, both vehicles must have cost him millions of naira, and these come in addition to the Range Rover Autobiography in his garage.
If an invigorating sports car driving experience is what you’re after, and you can foot the bill, the 2015 Porsche Cayman is one of the best options at any price. Apart from its interior refinement, the Cayman delivers the excitement of a sonorous, high-revving flat-six engine wailing right behind your head. It’s absolutely a fantastic sports car.
It drives in style and confidence where lesser machines would be begging for mercy. With its spirited engines, surgically precise steering, powerful brakes and agile nature, the Cayman is hard to fault.
In terms of refinement, the Cayman’s snug interior has always been a defining trait, with its top grade materials, high-tech displays and striking colour combinations, all of which make it a premium choice.
The Porsche Cayman is a two-seat coupe available in four trim levels: base, S, GTS and GT4. While the base Cayman is powered by a 2.7-liter horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine (also known as a flat-6 or boxer-6), the Cayman GTS gets an upgraded version of the 3.4-liter flat-6 with 340 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque.
With this engine, the GTS would sprint from zero to 60 miles per hour in just 4.5 seconds.
