The writer of “If I were President” is here with another mouth watering poem titled “Hypocrites(The Boy In The Bungalow). The poem no doubt sinks deeper than Atlantic oceans. So enjoy!!!
Hypocrites (The Boy in the Bungalow)
Ye who is white out and black in
Your sweet words that produce bitter colouring
The words from your mouth are peacefully firing
You will hail me in Lagos and slay me in Berlin
I thought I could have romance in your acts but, horror herein.
You lay a decree in your house and pretend on the streets
When you set traps for innocents like meat
and rejoice after giving punishment like cutting their feet,
do you enjoy such treat?
You are swift at stitching words like doctors;
-perfect at weaving lies like hair makers;
you dig out false laws like plumbers;
I wouldn’t call anymore occupation
before you sink another trouble!
I am the small boy in the bungalow
I am sunk under the couch to eat a burger low.
